Our New Baby

You gotta love it when they do all the work themselves with no interference from us!
Mom and baby are both doing well.
Up and about, clean, dry, nursing well.
Welcome to the world little one!  #1 is claiming she's a filly.  I haven't checked.  (I'd probably get it wrong anyway, lol).

We're tossing around some Shhhh names, to match Shaq and Sheila.  Any suggestions?

  1. Sheba? Won't all the sound-alike names be confusing to the animals?

    1. I'm passing all of the name suggestions on to #2. He gets to pick this one, since Knightmare is his horse. Keep 'em coming! lol. He's hard to please. I'll need some for calves soon, too.

Confusing to the critters? I really don't know. Depends how many are girls, for starters. Girls stay, boys go, with few exceptions. (I try to counteract the effects of all the testosterone in the house, lol). The reason for the name themes is to make it easier to keep track of how old everyone is.

  2. oh that baby is beautiful! and isn't it amazing that animals, for the most part, just do as nature intended and give birth so easily? oh i love that baby!

how about Siobhan, pronounced shu-VON. also, what about changing the SH to CH but keeping the same sound - like Chantale.

i think she is so beautiful that she should be named Chanel, pronounced SHA-nell, like Coco Chanel).

    1. Thank you. She's so soft. I just want to cuddle her all day! She is a girl. The tail lift works on horses! (But I stuck my head underneath to double check, lol).

I have a cousin named Chantelle. I think we would change the spelling to SH, but same sounding names are fine.
