My Awesome Work Crew

#1 digging a post hole. #3 holding the fence back out of the way. #4 wiring in barbed wire. #2 trimming a tree to make a new post.

We've got three strands of barbed wire up on this side now. At this rate we'll have a solid barbed wire fence in place by the time the field fence rots off. Just a little at a time.

  1. keep up the good work, Awesome Work Crew!
(do you rent them out by any chance? and how much? bahahahahahah!)

    your friend,

  2. I need a crew! Now, I can see a crew is indispensable. What's with the fires now?

  3. No doubt. The Littles and I take hours to patch a little hole, and it's only a temporary fix. Bring in the Bigs and we have a nice sturdy fence in half the time.

Fire crews made progress yesterday, with low wind and cooler temps. It's supposed to rain the next three days, so hopefully they'll make good progress there too. The closest fire to us is out now (Yeah!!), so the new closest is 45 minutes away, as the crow flies.

  4. That is some better. I have heard how fast fires can move. While 45 min is close, it's far sight better than 30 min away.
